wire harness for stereo? :Wiring:
I do beleive every one is diffrent for every deck.
I wanted to take the deck out my caddy and put it in my truck. not sure how hard it is to rewire it? I wouldnt just chop off the harness from the caddy would i? |

What year is that caddy? I used to have an '86 Buick Century that had the same stereo harness as my '82 truck

Well if it is an aftermarket stereo, the right way to do it would be to buy the harness adapter to fit your truck.

If you want to get really neat with it, you could solder and use shrink tubing.

does anyone know how much speakers/subs that go behind your seats cost?
I got a box and obviosuly that wont work id need a foot and half to fit my box in there. And do you mount the amp on the actual metal of the truck or put a board or something there? |

mount the amp under the seat. cost depends on what you want. years about i spend 15.00/ea for 2 8" subs from JC Whitney, and $30 for an amp. a friend gave me a box to put them in.
