Will a 1967 vent cowling fit on a 1972?

My cowling from my 1972 needs a derusting blast of crushed glass. It's pretty rusty on the underside so if it's too far gone to survive the cleaning, will the 1967 vent cowling I picked up out of a junkyard fit onto my truck?
