Tranny question.

My 72 c10 2wd has a turbo 400 tranny in it.Could this be OEM? The sticker in the glove box does not specify. It is a Cheyenne with a factory 402 engine. The reason I am asking is I wanted to change the driveshaft center support bearing but the mounting holes are off a little.I have never changed one of these bearings so maybe I have it on backwards? But it appeared the holes in the old one were off a little also.

Re: Tranny question.

The bearing I bought from Napa had what appeared to be a spacer ring that came with it approx.3/16 wide I put it on the shaft first then the bearing that put the holes an inch or more off so that was 20 bucks down the drain.
