Removing a th359 HELP!?
How hard is it to remove a th350 from a 350 sbc?
What tools do I need and is there like a write up? They're both out of the truck but the guy I'm wanting to buy from doesn't want to remove them and I don't want or need the th350 and I'm wanting to run a 4 speed. YouTube is no help from my searching. Thanks |

Alright that's what I figured. I assume the input shaft will freely come out of the motor pretty easy?

9/16 and 5/8 or 11/16 for the converter to flex plate bolts. You're going to want to keep the converter with the trans. It'll save a big mess. Just make sure it stays all the way in the trans when you separate them

It's an automatic. No input shaft. The torque converter is bolted to the flexplate. You'll need to rotate the engine to get the converter bolts.
Bring a socket set. You'll have it done in 5 minutes. |
