Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
These guys build top notch radiators at a reasonable price. Very happy with my decision to go through them for my LS swap radiator. Thank you.

Hey Sparky I need a 4 core with no trans coolers or ac ports as I am running a vintage air AC and standard trans. Also do your radiators work with the stock fan shroud and fan? I am running a 383 about 450 hp with a 3 core factory now and runs cool but I know I will need more cooling when I put my AC on.

We have a scratch & dent version on the shelf with that exact set-up (cosmetic issue only, been pressure tested and is fine). Regular price is $450, forum member price is $425, and for this scratch & dent unit, $375. We've been told by a few customers that they were able to use their factory shroud (I don't believe any mods were done to their shrouds either).

Ok sparky after lots of research last night I am thinking one of your 2 cores would cool better than a 4. Is the scratch and sent a 4 core or 2 and if you could shoot a picture of the dent I would be very interested. If it's on the bottom or side I may be ok with it as I still show my truck

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
all of our radiators are made with dual 1" thick cores (same thickness as a brass & copper 4 core, as the brass & copper style used four 1/2" thick cores, while aluminum uses two 1" thick cores). The marks are on the core side (fins) but with a fin comb could be straightened. I'll get a pic today for you. PM me your email address

Im doing an LS swap and probably going to run a higher than stock stall in the tranny. Do you recommend a separate transmission cooler or is your built in cooler enough?

Our cooler should be adequate for your needs. The only time we really recommend a separate auxiliary cooler is when you have a high horsepower engine, or live in extreme heat with a medium or higher engine build.
