Cab heT and sound insulation ideas

I'm getting ready to install a Vintage Air system in my 69 C10 but want to be sure I'm keeping the heat out. I read about various products such as Peel and Seal, Dynamat, Fatmat, etc. That appear to be mostly for sound deadening and [U]some[U] heat insulation. It's HOT here in Florida so I'm thinking insulation as well. Aluninized bubble mat? Stock jute pad? Other?

Any suggestions/opinions are welcomed!

Re: Cab heT and sound insulation ideas

I just did a complete interior strip, clean, reassemble. Used Lizard Skin, sound then heat products from behind the gas tank, across the floor, up the firewall, back side of dash, and inside the doors. On top of that I used an OE replacement tar sheet, then jute-backed carpet kit. Doors will also get a "yet to be determined" product like dynamat under the door panel. It's "almost" back together so haven't road tested yet.
