4x4 not working after trans rebuild 97 K1500
I need some help here guys. I had the transmission rebuilt and transfer case taken apart for inspection (was told it was good) by a local guy and both reinstalled by a "friend of a friend". Before they were pulled the floor shift lights lit up when I shifted to 4lo and 4high. Now that they're reinstalled the lights aren't working. Transfer case is engaging just don't think it's sending power to the actuator. I pulled the actuator and bench tested it and it seemed to work fine and also check the fuse. Any idea of what I need to check? Any help advice is greatly appreciated!

There's a switch on the TC lever for the actuator and indicator lights.
I've never mucked with mine because I just rigged the front axle disconnect to be always engaged.
