72 GMC under $1000
If I didn't already have 6 trucks and have to hide it from the wife I would be on this like stink on s**t.
Looks like the bed is pretty roached, but a 72 GMC, factory air, original paint, all there, and looking pretty solid to boot. That has got to be a great starter platform for somebody. Payson is about an hour away from Phoenix AZ if you are wondering. Not affiliated to seller in any way, just wanted to share. Here's the link https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/5167550296.html

Re: 72 GMC under $1000
I hear you. Rest might even be salvageable other than the bed? Could probably make it run in a week.

Re: 72 GMC under $1000
That is a $400 dollar truck... Only because that's about what scrap is worth. Might be fairly rust free... but that is a basket case.

Re: 72 GMC under $1000
???? It Needs a bed, maybe a door, and some tlc? How many of these old trucks are rotted to the moon and back and get saved? If the cab is mostly rust free that could bring pretty close to the 850 mark he is asking. I just dont see where your coming from, it looks pretty complete and has a clean title.

Re: 72 GMC under $1000
It is priced within reason for what it is IMO. Not a smokin deal, but he will probably find a buyer in time.

Re: 72 GMC under $1000
I dunno... I paid $800 for mine and I drove it from the field it was parked in.
If I'm shelling out close to a grand for a rig... it better be in running/driving order. This is the reason why rusty trucks are fetching crazy prices just for a cab and a frame. Gary
