Rear Brake Lines, WTB!?

I need brakelines for side and rear drum brakes. I converted to disc on just the front and orderded just the front by mistake, I thought I was getting the whole kit. Anyone know where I can get just the side (front to back) and rear end, line? TIA

Re: Rear Brake Lines, WTB!?

You can check with LMC Trucks, Brothers Trucks or Classic Tube. One or all of them are likely to have what you need.

I've checked with CPP, LMC, Classic Parts of Am, and all sell the whole kit and not them in pieces. I will try Brothers Trucks, thanks!

could this be what you're looking for? This stainless from Inline Tube. Was meant for a 65 Suburban but never used.

Re: Rear Brake Lines, WTB!?

I'm looking for the same things you are and having no luck as well. I'm considering buying a roll of tubing and flaring tool and doing it myself. Would still be cheaper than the whole kits.

Tubing

Tool

That's what I did. there is so much room to work with on these trucks, it was very easy.

Re: Rear Brake Lines, WTB!?

How did bending the tubing work for you? That is my only concern.

Re: Rear Brake Lines, WTB!?

It was pretty easy. I bought a nice (middle of the road) tube bender and a flare kit. Practiced on a piece of scrap that I had laying around from a different project, then just took my time.

It was pretty easy, and that was really my first time installing an entire line system.

That's odd.....I just purchased separate line kits from them like 2-3 months ago. I can get part #'s for you.

Re: Rear Brake Lines, WTB!?

I'm not sure why they told you they don't sell them separate.....because they obviously do. I can only tell you that I was very happy with the quality and fit. I ordered stainless lines and they went in with no problem.

Is different manufacturers brake line parts going to be a problem? And do you know what else I will need besides the brake T and flex lines to the drums to complete the install? I want to use all new parts..
