Repop side moldings

Looking for feedback on the repop side molding sets. I need bed side moldings as mine is bent up and I hate to try and polish this old stuff and then buy just for the bed. Just don't think it would match. Opinions welcome. I'm putting in a lot of time and money for paint, just don't want ragged looking molding on it.

Re: Repop side moldings

Mar-K has the best side molding. They are having a 10% off sale through labor day.

I bought some of the LMC pieces for the 72 and wow what a mistake. Looks like they were painted with a marker. Wish I wouldn't have bought them... Good luck!

That's why I'm asking. I don't want junk and I've never dealt with any of the suppliers on trim.

I have not bought molding from Mar-K. Everyone that has bought molding from them and has posted here on this forum say there is no comparison with any of the Chinese repop molding that is sold by the classic truck parts vendors. These are made in the USA. If I can't find OEM parts and have to buy aftermarket I am going to support my country and buy American made when I have a choice, even if it cost a little more. (BABA) Be American Buy American.

This is what is wrong with our country. A lot of Americans are buying Hyundai's, Kia's, Honda's, Toyota's etc. and also buy all the stuff coming from China because it is cheaper. Some stuff we are forced to buy because they do not make it here anymore. A lot of Americans complain about there not being any jobs here in the good old USA. Go Figure!

Re: Repop side moldings

Bought a full Mar-K set plus bed strips this week.

Amazing service from Vickie (ask for her by name) who I always deal with. (Thanks to Clemdaddy for organising and getting them delivered to his place)

Also bought screw on clips for full set, to reduce chance of pushing a dent anywhere with push on clips. Actually cost less.

Speak to resto guys like Clemdaddy on here from Tubatrucks.com it's their bread and butter, and they choose Mar-K.

The "pain" of a quality items price disappears the minute you step back and say: "Dang, that looks great"

Do yourself a favor and order your trim from Mar-K. If you want junk for $100.00 cheaper, order from LMC.
