Re: WTB- Radio din repair patch panel

I need a section that has the A/C vent and from a 68 and newer. I would like it to be cut on the ends like this picture so its easier to cover the welds up.

Lightbulb Re: WTB- Radio din repair patch panel

in my opinion it it a lot easier to replace the entire dash front panel, cut the slots under the dash pad and unbolt the end pieces, weld along the slots, reinstall the dash pad and you're done- no body work involved. i have done several this way. on my 69 K20 suburban i got lucky and pulled one the same color that was pristine so i didn't even have to paint it

Re: WTB- Radio din repair patch panel

Crap, I forgot Kris. Sorry. The day after you texted me I bought another parts truck, but I think its nice enough and complete enough to build someday. Its dash is cut so I will probably use the one from my other truck on it.
