Wiw - 72 c10 lwb
I have been considering buying this one and appreciate your thoughts on what it is worth.
Mostly original paint and fairly solid for an Illinois vehicle. The cab mounts need replacing, the inner rockers look poorly replaced with tar over them, front of inner fenders are rusted through, and there rust hole in floor at rear of bed. The paint has been redone below the body molding and the right rear wheel arch has rust through and looks like it has been worked. The interior is nice, vehicle runs and drives well with new radiator, carb and tune up. Appreciate your thoughts on a market value. |

Thanks flashed. In Illinois the plates stay with the seller of the vehicle so I don't think I can get them.

Just my opinion - $7500 minus body repair costs - probably should look real close at outer rockers, core support & fender cups in addition to the parts you mentioned (bed, inner rockers & cab supports).

For that amount of rust and repair work it'd be closer to $3g in my area and that's tops if it's a solid driver. Anything higher and you can buy rust free.
