Been awhile since I posted to thread,I pulled out procharged efi sbc and started to install a 6.2 ls motor.Has BTR stage 4 LS3 cam kit along with 4l85e w/3600 stall from a 2007 HD3500 express van.Parts used for swap are StreetRays adapter plates w/gbody clamshells and 1985 3500 pickup frame stands.Exhaust is TruRam stainless manifolds.I will be running Holley Dominator efi and oil pan is from a 2004 CTS-V.
Also accessory drive will be Holley along with LS3 water pump.

Good choice on the ls...you'll never build anything else...except maybe a monster BBC. They just sound too good.

Really nice and tidy power steering lines. Custom? Part numbers? I really like the frame rail straps, nice work!

Re: My 71 custom10 deluxe

Thanks Boynton and uxdesigner.
The power steering lines are factory with a swedgelok adapter to hose and a 6an 90 on end. Then on Corvette power steering pump i just used a adapter to 6an fitting. The only thing with this setup is you have to use bigger power steering pulley that came on the 97-98 models not the open face one that came on later c5 and c6's or the 6an adapter on pump would hit pulley.

Re: My 71 custom10 deluxe

Installed this battery box a few months ago.I mounted it on passenger frame rail in front of rear tire. It's a auxiliary box from early 2000's Ford E350 diesel.Had it powder coated black.Used a Odyssey battery. Was hard to get a real good pic with truck on ground.

Re: My 71 custom10 deluxe

Went buy the local Aeroquip store yesterday picked up some hydraulic crimp 3/8 jic 6an fittings and Eaton Aeroquip matchmate hose. It's a little overkill but won't have to worry about them again.I will go back Monday and have them crimp the ends on.

Do you have any more pictures of the Civic weather stripping ?

How do they fit at the bottom ?
