Chevy boat motor 305 1987

I have twin 1987 305 Chevy/OMC Engines in my boat !

I was cruising at abot 1800 rpm and all of a sudden one engine faltered. It was a weird feeling so I shut her down - when I got back to the dock - I tried to restart it. It just kept turning over - not a spit or sputter.

Changed the plugs, ignitor module, coil, rebuilt carb, checked fuel pump and filters. It just keeps rolling over.

I am running out of ideas - strong spark - plenty of fuel(fresh) -

Getting ready to take my 44 and do a Elvis !

Help !

The other engine is runnin like a bull
