ISO 3 speed trans
ISO 3 speed trans for my 68 C10. It currently has a SM318 Muncie which has non-synchro 1st gear. I need to replace the clutch so I figured I'd swap the trans all at once. If anyone within 300 miles of Dallas, TX has one they'd like to part with I'd be grateful.
I'm new so hopefully I didn't break any rules with this post. If I did my apologies, let me know and I'll correct it. |

Re: ISO 3 speed trans
I think that I have one that is in good shape. I am at exit 284 off of I-35 ~2 hours from you. I will have my dad look it over, but if it is good, I have everything to go with it-shift linkage/cross member and I think I even have a column somewhere. No idea what it is all worth but I need some seat belt money so anything helps. I will look into it tomorrow.

Re: ISO 3 speed trans
Also I guess I should clarify and ask if you are looking for a three speed auto or standard, I just assumed standard.

Re: ISO 3 speed trans
How does $150 for everything sound? My dad (who knows much more than I do) said he shifted through the gears (not running) and everything felt tight. I should have the transmission bell housing linkage and column.

Can you enlighten me on how you know this will need to be changed as well? I'd also like to go ahead and replace the current crossmember which mounts to the bell housing, which means I need a tranny with the rear mount on the tail. If I understand, this usually means one from a car. If you could shed some light on this I'd be grateful. |

Just removed my 30TT today from my 72. Let me know if you need anything.
