brake conversion

Hello Everyone!
New to posting but have been reading this board for a while--you guys are a wealth of information--I have a 67 1/2t 4wd and am considering disk brakes-have any of you done a swap like this for a 4wd truck with leaf springs? If so any info on parts pieces or procedure would be greatly appreciated

i actually just got most of mine done last weekend, i used the spindles (and out) of a 78 1/2 ton chevy 4wd, the hardest part was actually getting the brake lines to mate with the new caliper hoses. i still have to get a proportioning valve. i would recommend just swapping out the complete front axle assembly if the gears are the same. also summit sells some braided stainless steel hoses that i'm thinking about i guess they're a little longer and solve some issues like mine not mating and not having as much play as i would like. but definetely try to swap the entire axle if possible -todd

Thanks for the help--I was hoping to retain the original axles but I can see how a complete swap would be easier.
