Looking for LWB bed parts need advice
I have been looking for a driver side bed panel and wheel well, there has been several people contacting me, but hasn't worked out for 1 reason or another.
I will be driving to Houston (TX) from OH this Christmas, so I would like to see if there is a good place where I can pickup these items on the way back. I will be driving the van with the family, so it's hard for me to fit a whole bed in the back. Does anyone know a few good places where I can contact and see if they have the parts I need? I will be passing through KY, TN, AR, but can take some detour to pick up the parts. Thanks, |

Re: Looking for LWB bed parts need advice
Well I guess I would post ads on Craigslist and bookoo in the major cities I'll be passing through and see what happens. All the stuff I've found has been due to determination (searching multiple times a day, every day) and luck. Good luck!

The route is not set yet, so I'm open to make changes and pick up along the way.

Re: Looking for LWB bed parts need advice
I'd rent a one-way UHaul trailer in eastern NC on my way home.

Re: Looking for LWB bed parts need advice
I have posted some "wanted ads" in a few cities along my intended route, that's a good idea.
My van doesn't have a hitch, can't even tow a trailer. That's why I can't take a whole bed, which is the best option, so I'm looking for just the driver side, if I can find it. |

Re: Looking for LWB bed parts need advice
Maybe update you WTB thread with your travel schedule. Also try car-part.com, search for an entire bed, and use a zip code about half way along your route and search by distance. Then you can contact any of the yards along the way that are listing a bed and see if they will part out just what you need.
