That's one cool truck. Would have been better is if had the original engine though.

It appears to be a period Watson overdrive auxiliary box. I believe its just 2 postions, direct and overdrive. There very small and light, not to be confused with a large Spicer 3 or 4 speed auxiliary box found in old large trucks. Too bad they stopped making them, I believe there would be a large market for something like this. Very clean old 3/4 ton, another survivor thanks to the RV boom of the mid 60's to mid 70's. The correct exterior color name for is Fawn for trucks, not Beige. I bet this 59K C 20 has a build sheet under seat. From the photos, its a base model but has the Z62 Custom Comfort option, air, power brakes and the V37 Chrome option ( bumper and hubcaps). Too bad it wasn't garaged, the California unforunately sun left its mark.
