Spare tire carrier
If a truck came equipped with the glide-out spare tire carrier would it be possible to install a regular spare tire carrier that goes in the same location? Would extra holes need to be drilled, etc. or would it just bolt right in?

Don't have the glide out no mo'.
It was tossed out by the previous owner. Found a regular one. Want it.

Is there a source for the glide out and all its parts and pieces? It was removed to make way for a Class III hitch.

1775, will this work on a one ton Dually 86 C3500 GMC with 235/85R16 tires?
Do you know If they made different sizes of the carrier assembly for different sized trucks ? Or is this the only size they made? I can measure the tire if you need it.

The glide out one is kind of adjustable... You just loosen up the bolt or tighten them up. I received a free glide out carrier from a dually 3500, so I think there are only 4 types of carriers. 2 under bed, 1 in bed, and 1 outside bed.
