My square warming up

With school and life being so busy lately I haven't drove my truck much the last couple weeks. Decided yesterday I'd take her for a spin. I let her warm up for 10 mins probably. It was pretty cold out (not below freezing) and my pipes were shooting rings like tractors do at pulls! Tried to get a video but it quit, I'll grab one next time. So cool, anyways here's "Sierra Mist" idling

Re: My square warming up

Zach, I don't know how true it is, but my Dad had always told me that exhaust smoke rings, were caused by one of two things, either the exhaust valve isn't seating properly, and allowing some of the combustion gasses to whistle around it. Or the valve is becoming burnt. I've seen the smoke rings, but never had the problem myself.

Re: My square warming up

Well that may be true for smoke rings, but these were "condensation" rings from the cold weather. In regular weather its fine, theres no smoke whatsoever. It's a fresh rebuild so it better not have any problems. :P

It was muggy day, VERY wet water was standing in the lawn, and I think it was the perfect conditions for it. I've never seen it do rings before in the cold, until that muggy day.

Sounds really good! Can't ever get tired of the sound a square makes.
