Pics of Tuffy Console

I bought the Tuffy console because I wanted a secure lockable storage area. The Tuffy has a DIN cut out for a stereo or CB. I also mounted an amp underneath to keep it out of sight and out of mind. This picture shows the top closed and the protective cover over the head unit

pic from top view. This shows the stereo head unit. This pioneer has a cheesy remote that attaches to the steering wheel.

Top closed, with head unit door open. The head unit door locks under the top when it is closed over top of it

pic of bottom with amp. the wood piece is hanging loosely off of the bolt, that's why it is crooked.

Where did you find this unit?

Tuffy console

I have the same console, deffinately worth its price. I mounted my amp inside the console. Nice too because I didnt have to make any mods to bolt it in except for one extra hole in the floor.

Which console did you get? How wide is it? I've been looking at them but I haven't decided how wide to go.

Hey they make Tuffy in my town, Shawn the owner is a friend of mine. been through their shop and it's a very profesional set up.
plus he is a great guy and started it all out of his garage. He now has 15,000 sq. ft. I'll let him know everyone speaks well of his product.

Tuffy's web site

http://tuffyproducts.com/consoles/ce...xe_stereo.html

I have their largest console, what ever one that is. It is meant to fit full size trucks with buckets. It fits nicely in the Blazers. A neat thing about it is the black straps on the side that hold the seat belts up.

It bolts down with 3 3/8" bolts to the floor pan. You have to drill holes.
