Re: Factory V8 tach dash

Would you back up the tach? It is hard to buy these at the price if the tach does not work.

They are not hard to test if you have an older vehicle with an HEI ign or point ign.

I am looking for a good working tach for a future cluster build.

Thank you for your time,
Tom

Re: Factory V8 tach dash

You do not need the circuit board to test these. Just 12 volts a gnd and a wire to the coil. I realize there are 2 other inquiries ahead of me but if they pass & you can guarantee the tach works i'll take it.... Jamie71Longhorn

Re: Factory V8 tach dash

Guys, I'm out of town until tomorrow night. I can test the tach on my truck Sunday. I will send a PM after I do that.

Re: Factory V8 tach dash

I haven't been able to test it yet. My plan it to test it in my '63, but haven't had time with all of the holiday activities.
