Vertical fender seals

I put my front clip back on and the part that stumped me were the long vertical seals that go between the cowl area and the fender - right by the door hinges. Do those get held in by any sort of fastener or just sandwich in between the cowl and fender? I could not see any bolt holes and do not remember taking and screws out to get them off.

Re: Vertical fender seals

I got some pics someplace. they have a clip that holds em in. there is a metal strip with a fiber or rubber strip attached to it. kinda hard to find new ones. seems like the clips are like a spring steel wire clip, like a trim clip. I can,t get at the trk right now to look up there. I don't have a pic of the clips. I'll try and get under there today and get a pic. just had shoulder surgery so I'm tryin to stay away from the trk for awhile. maybe sombdy else can do better.

Re: Vertical fender seals

Ah ha! Can I put them on in the future without taking the fender off? Just by taking the bottom bolt out?

Yeah, I don't think so, they are pretty tight at the top.
