tow hooks

when I talked to the original ownwer I asked him about these tow hooks he said they came on it when he bought it,dealer add on i'm guessing.

Three styles of optional tow hooks (front & rear) could be ordered for the 67-72 Chevy and gmc trucks and blazers. Should be a GM part number cast into them if theyre oem originals.

those are a after market type tow hook like a vic hickey or valley tow products

I think they are after market also,i was curious what his response was,i'm sure he put them on right after he bought them,i wanted others verification on that that they aren't factory.

I have one exactly like the one you have. Do you just have the one or do you have a pair?

Not factory... I agree with them being a hickey or similar type aftermarket.

I have no idea where it came from. It was just sitting inside mine when I got it last year. I do have another piece though. Pretty sure it isn't factory. What do you guys think?

sorta looks like rear tow hooks to me, maybe he just mounted them to the wrong end of the truck
