help with lowering front--which coils for 671 blower

ok

have a 383 stroker that rides low in the front..currently 6" drop with2.5 spindles and 2" coils and some cutting(3.5 total).

want it a tad higher and gonna lose so height from additional weight..

Like to change springs to something that will firm up ride and get me higher. Thinking BBC/454 coils.

Questions:

1- will stock BBC be same ride height as stock SBC coils?
2- can I get stock BBC springs and cut if needed or buy 1-2" drop bbc spring and cut if needed..

wanting around 1" higher from current height..

anyway thoughts please...

I would stick with sbc springs. Start with 2" and cut like you did before. Your blower will not make a big enough weight difference to justify going to a stiffer bbc spring. IMO.
