What are these?

I picked up the rear proportion of a 1984 Chevy K30 Dually this afternoon. Can anyone tell me what the part is (in the red box) is used for? Thanks.

Re: What are these?

It looks like the exhaust hangers on a diesel that had dual exhaust....to me.

Are there little boxes on the ends that would hold the rubber bushing?

Yes there are. They have a long channel it looks like for adjustments. I was told the truck was originally a diesel truck so that would make sense. Thank you.

Re: What are these?

No problem. Did you get the frame section for the spring hangers?

You are correct. I am going to put them on my '65 build so I can swap the complete rear out of the '86 1 Ton under there. Long story short the guy I was buying them from was suppose to have the hangers removed by the time I arrived to his house. When I arrived and he said he couldn't get them off I said well lets cut the frame and I will be on my way.

Re: What are these?

Sounds like a solid plan.
