Summer hobby
Last year I finally got our model boat racing club back together. We found a local spot where we can run with little to no hassle. This time of year it's time to get all the toys ready for the summer racing season. Patch things up, order new parts. Right now I'm fixing one that got a hole knocked in the bottom last october. After this is fixed it will get a nice shiny coat of paint so we can make molds from it and make carbon fiber hulls. Most of these are 26 cc gas weed whacker engines. My wife always knows where I am, either in the garage or at the lake!

Re: Summer hobby
Good looking little boats. Id like to build a sk daddle to match my stevens someday. Until then my big boats have been pretty cheap so ill keep playing with those. I have less than a grand in my 56 woody that I restored this fall.

Re: Summer hobby
Thanks guys. It is a pretty fun hobby. I do a lot of woodworking on the side too so this just fits right in. Here are a couple vids.
