Who has converted from manual to power brakes?

My 1982 short bed C10 truck with manual brakes stops OK -- better than most non-power brake vehicles I've driven over the years. The rear drums, shoes, and wheel cylinders are fairly new, as are front pads and rotors.

However, a few weeks ago I drove my old 69 C10 (now my son's) and it stopped soooo much better with essentially the same front and rear brakes (fronts from an 86 C10), but with an 11" OEM booster.

Besides booster, master cylinder, and new brake lines, what else do I need to convert to power brakes? Vacuum is not an issue because my engine makes around 19"-20" at idle.

1969 C10 LWB -- owned for 35 years. 350/TH350, 3.08 posi, 1st Gen Vintage Air, recent AAW wiring harness, 5-lug conversion, 1985 spindles and brakes.
1982 C10 SWB -- sold
1981 C10 Silverado LWB -- sold, but wish I still had it!
1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming.
Retired as a factory automation products salesman.
Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop.

I bought a used booster and new master cylinder for my 74 ,did not need new lines ,direct bolt on.

A couple of things I remember having done this, the hole in the pedal is a different size, and you have to drill 2 holes in the upper cowl to bolt the top of the brake booster bracket to.

I think I used the pushrod from the donor booster and as mentioned above do what he said .There is a thread on here showing how to do most of it ,thats how I learned it .If I can do it anyone can.

Just went the other way, the power pushrod threads into the pushrod on the booster.
If you can't find one, I'll give you my old one.
