car masscots ?
Doing a little road side rescue with Mary she saw a Bird Bath looked like rod iron so we turned around stopped and it was plastic still nice looking but plastic so while deciding to put it in the truck or leave it on the road , I see this little guy in the gutter just in front of my wheel I found myself a little mascot and it filled the hole left by PO

Re: car masscots ?
Ha yeah I just picked it up and stuck it in the hole as I found it maybe I should paint it green or try a chrome paint , Here is one I,m looking at , I use the truck for a Music Business so this would work better, but the lowest price I can find is 330$ so a free Frog is okay for now

Hey Geezer don't know about the shade of the mascot. But the color of your pickup is finer than frog hair!!

Re: car masscots ?
I'm sure you remember Canned Heat/Bullfrog Blues, right? The one with the guitar made me think of that song

Re: car masscots ?
My dad would LOVE that little frog! His nickname is "Frog" and has been forever.
My dad loves hood ornaments (as I do) and he put a Lincoln "gun sight" sort of hood ornament onto my truck probably back in the 1970's. It's the old kind that doesn't have the spring on the bottom so you can really impale those pesky jaywalkers! For years I thought Chevrolet had a gun sight for an emblem. |

No Frogs on mine but the '71 came with a rocket on the hood... It actually cleaned up pretty good. (second pic) I don't have a clue what its off of but it fits good. I didn't say it "looks good" I said it "fits good".... LockDoc

Re: car masscots ?
I dunno if it's original, but it was on a mid-50s Olds I saw at a car show.

Re: car masscots ?
I'd consider mounting it upside down on the Ford
