Battery Cables - '70 C10
I am looking for an OEM set of battery cables for a 1970 C10 with a 350.
Any recommendations? Thanks.

I'm interested in this too. Wonder if there are better ones somewhere online.

There is a post in the parts section where a member sells them. Not sure if they are oem but look like good quality

Re: Battery Cables - '70 C10
The 1970 and earlier trucks with top post batteries did not use the "spring-ring" cables. Below is a picture of the originals from my '69. They were both black. Positive is 1st pic. The only reproductions I've seen are sold by http://www.lectriclimited.com/mainpage.htm, but they are for Vettes and '50s Chevy cars. I don't know if any of those would be the right lengths for our trucks.
1971 and later used side post cables. |

Re: Battery Cables - '70 C10
There is always something to learn about these trucks. My 99% original 72 C10 has the battery side mount cables and I've been wondering why they had been changed from the top mount ones as I didn't think side mount batteries had been around since 1971. I guess my side mount ones are the originals.
