kill switch help! needed quick pls

me and a buddy did plugs and wires on his 94 chevy pickup, fired it up and it and went for a blast, it was running a bit rough and came back and the one plug wire wasnt clipped right on all the way, i pushed it on heard it click on all the way, fired up again went for another blast and it ran great, got back cleaned up and went to move the truck out of the shop and all it did was click a bunch of times and the alarm went off, he said it has a built in kill switch and i couldnt find the actual switch or a reset button, why the hell is it not firing up now? i feel like a dumbass cause my buddy is sorta relying on me because he doesnt know much, and now his truck wont run, im positive that its something to do with the alarm but im not sure just what it is...if anyone knows whats wrong or has any ideas please let me know asap so i can get this fixed

Thanks, Derek

why would it fire right up and work then just die like that? it started up first try after we got the wires on...all the lights work, stereo works fine etc, none of this should work with a dead battery should it?

all the wires are on the dizzy, what would cause the starter to draw too many amps? it was working fine one minute then the next it wasnt, this is too weird, so you dont think it has something to do with that damn alarm?

IF THE ALARM WAS SHUTTING IT DOWN ....I THINK YOU WOULD NOT GET ANY CLICKING NOISE.....

IT WOULD JUST TURN--THE KEY---AND NOTHING

probably you drained the battery down the first time you started it so the seocnd time the alarm went off for some reason draining the battery even further causing it to not have enough juice to crank...

oh also, does it have a remote for the security.... my grandfathers alarm on his 95 x-cab you have to press the 1 button when youre inside for it to be able to start.

hey guys, gave it a jump and it fired right up, turns out one of the spark plugs had a crack in the porcelin and was arcing onto the header, i noticed it cause it was dark out, we put an old plug in and it was fine, my buddy mustve left his interior light on or something while we were doing the plugs and wires and maybe that drew some current and caused it to not want to start??!?!
