Ok.. School me on offset on rims.

I'm finally to the point of putting new rims on my sons truck.
I will be putting 6 lug 15 inch wheels on.
Its a 70 GMC with a 2 inch drop in the front, stock height in the back and has a flat bed on it.
Anyways to the question. What offset should I be looking at?
We are going with a set of American Racing Wheels Baja black.
