Re: Torq Thrust II backspacing help ....please
3 inch drop spindles (73-87) and 2600's up front with suicide doors upper plate and I made a plate like the upper for the lower instead of cups. the bag bellow never touches neither plate and my cross member or rather control arm is like 1 inch off the ground. I ran hydraulic hose from bag to the radiator core support and added a Schrader valve. I run 30 psi and it gives me 3 inches of clearance and a great ride. stays aired up for a couple of weeks. I air out at cruise in's and the rest of the time run 30 psi. very reliable and I can drive it aired out if I had to.

Re: Torq Thrust II backspacing help ....please
Just pick these bad boys up today, thanks for the info guys. Got a bargain on them for $900 tires and wheels less than 1k miles on them. What drop would you guys recommend on my stock 72 fleetside. I have the 18x7 on front and 18x10 on rear. Both have 6mm offset and tires are 235-60-18 front, 265-60-18 rear. I will be doing the break job before and want to know of I should do spindles and drop, or simply the springs. I like the 4-5" front drop and 6" in the rear look. Will this work for my set up. Recommendations?

Re: Torq Thrust II backspacing help ....please
if you can go lower like you want, buy a 2 1/2 drop spings and 2 inch coils up front and a 5 inch coil out back. (shouldn't need a c notch, I don't think) its all bolt in and not really expensive...should give you a great ride

Re: Torq Thrust II backspacing help ....please
I have only leaf springs in rear. Was thinking about doing spindles or would drop springs be better?
