Heater options
Which type of heater is better in a 1966 C30- a recirculating version or the one where the core is in the engine compartment? I have both and am willing to use either- just wanting to see if there are any pros or cons to either.

Re: Heater options
Are you going to drive it in the winter?

Re: Heater options
recirculating, is the key difference. I have the econo heater and it works ok down to around 10 or 20 above. Then I have to crack a wing window. the warm moist air your breathen in the cab condensates on the windows. if I had two people in the trk it would be a real pain. but the econo heater is a lot cleaner install.

Re: Heater options
The truck I am working on will get driven in the winter. I am building it to replace my Dodge as my "work" truck, so it may have to go Lowes in the middle of the winter. It probably won't be driven much in the winter, but it will get driven some.
I hope that I won't have to be out much below freezing. I don't want to leave the house in that weather. |
