'65 GMC Steering column turn signal switch/bearing help please!!!!!
I always try and look through all these forums before I ask any redundant questions but my brother had taken the steering column apart and I always take pictures on my phone or write it down somehow on how any parts come apart. He tore down the column and now I'm trying to piece it all back together. It needed new bearings(upper and lower), have the lower bearing installed but it's this upper bearing that goes with the turn signal switch, through all the info on here and 6066gmc the GMC's and only the '63 Chevy truck have the turn sign Satch and upper bearing are two separate parts. I am using original turn signal switch it's just the bearing I think it needs to go further into the turn signal assembly but it's a little to big. The upper bearing is from classic parts(http://www.classicparts.com/mobile/1.../#.VxKQScg8KnM)
If anyone can just lay it out on how the rest of column and steering wheel comes back together would be awesome. I'll take pictures |
