Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread
Just read through your build, pretty much nails it on the suspension with what I'm wanting to do with my 67 stepside. Sub'd for the rest of the way! Can you post up some more pics of the rear setup? Very nice man!!

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread
thanks man! basically its a porterbuilt stage 2 deluxe kit. I bought the basic stage 2, then the crossmember then cpp trailing arm. if I could do it again I would have just got the deluxe to begin with but I couldnt really decide on what I was gonna do

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread
small update. Ive been finishing up a lot of small stuff and fixing little problem but I did get it running and have most of my exhaust finished. I hope I can get it painted by the middle of next month. I also took it for a little ride around the yard haha

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread
I should have the tail pipes finished up Wednesday but you can see how the exhaust is coming along in this picture
I also did a little side project where I made adaptors for my heater defrost hoses. I went from the factory size down to a 2 inch and they turned out really well.

small update. I had to pull the engine out to fix an oil leak but got it back in and now we are just fine tuning the body work. everything is pretty close.

I would love to hear a sound clip of that exhaust system, is that 3 or 3.5'?

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread
Thanks guys! yeah the exhaust is was interesting on this thing. That was the only way I could see routing it and having tail pipes. the bed floor is gonna be raised because of the where I had to put the air compressors and tank. overall I pretty happy with it. Ill see if I can get a sound clip to upload right.
