Anyone used these StreetEdge axle flip kits?
Mostly wondering about quality. The price is on point and it has the better style axle brackets, at least in the photo. I don't like the "actual product may vary" disclaimer on the photo, though. Are these guys going to bait and switch for the crappy style bracket? Also, are the U-bolts the same size as factory? Thanks in advance for any input.

For one extra dollar you can buy a name brand kit from the most legit mailorder house on the internet. No worries about Summit pulling some shady business on you. Free shipping over 99 bucks every day of the week.

Re: Anyone used these StreetEdge axle flip kits?
Why not just get a new set of axle perches and weld them on?

Re: Anyone used these StreetEdge axle flip kits?
By the time I get perches, new U-bolts made, and make/modify plates to fit I'll be into it with time, money, materials, and fuel for much more than $160. I'd rather just pay that for an engineered, bolt on kit with minimal screwing around to make it work.

Perches are $12 at your local Chrysler dealership. P4120074
Probably get them welded in for beer -at a minimum, just match the pinion angle that came out of it. Your local truck shop or auto parts store can get u-bolts. Labour is about the same.

Re: Anyone used these StreetEdge axle flip kits?
It's just not cost or time effective for me. It's $80 locally to get U-bolts, $12 for your perches, plus time to modify or make a spring plate, plus measuring pinion angle and welding time, plus I'm into 4 hours of drive time (I'm an hour and a half out of town) and $40 in gas to get there and back. I'm nearly there in money anyway as well as already half a day into this before I can even start on the truck itself, just makes more sense for me to buy one bolt on ready.
