Re: finally come
Cool trailer one like that is on my list to rebuild. Also air ride so it sits on the ground with my truck.

Re: finally come
Safety Chains go over the receiver in front of the hitch then hook onto the eyelets. This way if the hitch comes undone it doesn't dive into the ground.
You'll have to paint the same colors as the Burb. Your not looking for hard to find NOS pieces for the trailer are you?

Re: finally come
Pimpston
How is your armrest holding up after painting it? My paint is all cracking on mine, so now I have to figure out how to either re-do it, or strip it. I cleaned it real good, and prepped it, but it didn't hold. Hope you had better luck. |

Re: finally come
They make a product that it is a plastic adhesive helper. I used it for painting all the hard plastic parts in my cab and it helps the paint to bond to the material better.

Re: finally come
I will look into that. I'm thinking the flex from resting my arm on it, and pulling on it had something to do with it as well.

Re: finally come
Yes the house should be the first inline. Fun new skills. Nothing like learning something new, and doing it correctly. Enjoy--------------
