Shop Manual Suggestion?
I was looking for a good shop manual and saw there's a few options out there. It looks like there's a reprint of the original shop manual for my truck (1969) as well as a Chilton and a Haynes.
Has anyone used any of these these? Any suggestions on which manual is a good one to get? |

Re: Shop Manual Suggestion?
I have one of each. nothing replaces the Origonal service manual...both of them....and a parts manual and an electrical harness schematic. Some of the repro manuals have issues with the images having been photocopied to death.
I like the Haynes manual for our trucks more than the Chiltons. Thats just my opinion based on what I look up in the manuals vs. what I already know from experience. six dozen of one and half of another. |
