Please help ID this GMC part

Ive bought this grill for my 67..The part right above the grill, item 4 ctr molding, I did not order because the old parts catalog I don't think showed this piece..The piece was not on the truck when I bought and the grill that was in there was not 1967..
So does anyone know what this is for and do you think I need it? Thanks

Re: Please help ID this GMC part

My gmc grills have that piece on them don't know on a 67 but on 71-72 the grill is actually 2 pieces and if that is what I think it is that piece rivets on the top of the grill and fills the hole between the top of the grill and the hood.

Re: Please help ID this GMC part

I could sell you the grill or the top bar or both. They are not correct for a '67 though and this top bar won't work if you have a '67 grill.

Re: Please help ID this GMC part
