I shaved the firewalls heater box and patched some rust on the firewall. Also I removed the dash and discover the biggest nightmare yet, the footwell to the windshield on both side rusted completely through. Started to remove that. I will clean up and por15 what I can save mostly behind that panel and then custom fab what I have to. I would just scrap this cab, but I already have some much work done on the firewall and body drop. I post some pics when I get them devoloped. Let the headaches begin.......

Finished installing my reproduction grill, waxed and polished truck, tightened loose rad hose clamp, and drove it for the first time since last winter. Put it back to sleep in the garage. It is ready to go to the auction in April.

Started shoping for my next project.

i cleaned up the bumper on the 67, the inside was all dirty and had surface rust, i got it all nice and clean then shined the chrome side, then cleaned up the mounting brackets and painted them, then stripped 3 layers of paint off the tailgate then me and my dad put the 40/60 in the cab and fabricated some brackets to mount it. it was about a 8 hour day..went good

I pulled the TPI from the Camaro and started labeling all of those wires. Was a little overwhelming at first, but things are moving along now. Intake goes through the parts washer tomorrow.

I had a long weekend...as in, all week. I love spring break. Anyway, here's my list from what I did last week -

Monday - Bought the truck, fiddled with it for 3 hours to get it to run, drove it home without tags. Pulled the carb, stripped it and dumped it in the soak overnight.

Tuesday - had to go to school to observe a teacher (I love education classes!), then at 4:30, went to the store to put carb together, dropped that on and ran it. sounds OK. Flushed the cooling system in my mom's 92 cherokee and did some teardown on our CJ7 project.

Wednesday - put exhaust manifold gaskets on the wee-oh-7. (that mofo of a job took me 6 hours) Was too pissed to do anything else

Thursday - more work on the CJ, finally get around to changing the oil in the C10. Smells like gas because it was flooded so many times. do a total kerosene flush and it runs smoother now that it's actually getting oil. Throw the oil filter in a lathe and cut off the end. the entire thing was COVERED in about 1/4" of grime inside and out and has silt at the bottom like you wouldn't believe.

Friday - fixed the choke on the C10, rebuilt the carb on the Delta (again...grrr), more work to the CJ.

Saturday - nothing...I slept.

Today - nothing. watched NASCAR then came back to school.

I took half a day Friday and washed the truck cause I was going to the Chevy show at Moroso on Saturday, figured I would enter in the daily driver class so it was a good time to clean the truck. Well I go home and UPS came by, I finally received my new spray in bedliner, so I preped the bed and truck and sprayed away. Then Saturday morning got up early and painted my wheel wells and kept cleaning. Went out to Moroso got in and went to register only to realise that Saturday was all specialty events, best paint, best truck etc. well I'm not best of anything so I shouldn't have even been there but I was so made the best of it by drinking heavily, and I decided not to go back Sunday for the other classes, I'll go back some other time.
