?'s - H-Pipe 02? Wideband carb tuning? Gauge Mount?

I want to install one or two wideband sensor in my truck to help with tuning it. I just installed an H-pipe last week and it got me thinking - can I mount the o2 sensor on the crossover pipe? Would that be a good mix of exhaust so that I don't have to buy 2 sensors?

Anyway, I bought 2 sensors and gauges yesterday because I wasn't going to chance the h-pipe thing. They will arrive shortly. Has anybody here played around with an Edelbrock carb using widebands? I'm hoping to squeeze a little fuel mileage out mine while getting her to run a bit more snappy.

Where do you guys mount extra gauges? I really hate to start sticking stuff on the dash because I think it ruins the original vibe, but I want 02s so..... I have a custom built cupholder mounted to the bottom of the dash in the middle, so that's not a gauge mounting option. Steering column, dash, elsewhere??? Who's got pics?
