Cold start of my '67's 350. '79 long block with 4G carb. (manual choke), points ignition, .383/.401" cam, factory iron intake and ram's horn exhaust manifolds, and dual 2"? pipes all the way back with plain ol' Walker baffle mufflers. Acts the same way whether it's 80 or 0*.

Re: Lets hear your engine purr ...

I'm going to try to post mine - but what I found cool was going down the page and tripping all of the you tube videos one after the other - makes for a cool symphony of multiple trucks!

Re: Lets hear your engine purr ...

To me, purr means idle. There are other words for anything else

Here's my '72 with 350, Hedman Torque-Steps, 2 1/4" duals, no crossover, Flowmasters. Not sure which ones. This exhaust was done in '04.

Copy the url from the browser, paste in the comment box, then remove the https://

It should look like this without the quotation marks.

Do I have to upload a video to youtube or some other hosting site to be able to post it here? I am not what you would call "tech savvy"...

Re: Lets hear your engine purr ...

I know this is in my Demo truck, but I'm in the middle of putting this engine in my 1967 C20. It started out a 1971 350, that got worked over to a 383 stroker. She's pushing 600 hp on 113 oxygenated race gas, rev limiter is set at 7600 rpm in this video. Turn up the speakers and enjoy!
