Re: 15 year old fixing his first truck up!
Nice truck man. they're fun to work on. I have to get a sending unit for my tank next ad eventually get a new bed. Speaking of which I like 66 step side on the 69 body. my neighbor has a 72 that looks quite similar to yours. I think I will save up for it next that way I will have a way to get off of this mountain during the WV winters. anyway, can't wait for more pics

I'll admit this thread has made me laugh a couple times. You seem to have a good foundation. Although, I do find it odd someone combined a 55-66 stepside bed and a 69 cab on a 73 frame. Looks better than the first truck I had (Still a roller ).

Re: 15 year old fixing his first truck up!
so guys, got a eldebrock carb for the thing, i traded him the holley i had, the carb was pulled from a running truck that had a 350sbc, until he droped a rod while givin the truck hell. so hes putting a 305 in it, and just wanted a holley, so we traded. today is when hes picking the holley up, and droping the eldebrok. then this weekend im working on it and hope to hear the built 350 purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. still need that grill though.
