1971 Jimmy suspension question

I purchased another 1971 Jimmy five years ago, and parked it in the garage. I want to start next week working on suspension. I was told it was stock, but I don't remember a 2" block on the rear suspension of my other one. The Jimmy does not set that high, I would appreciate any feedback.

Re: 1971 Jimmy suspension question

That's not original. My 70 had the axle perch right against the spring.

Re: 1971 Jimmy suspension question

It probably had the typical rear spring sag and someone installed the homemade blocks to make it sit level again.
