69 brake line routing

Im trying to figure out if they go inside the frame rail or outside and how they bolt up on a 1970 power brake setup. I have a diagram from a previous thread but it isnt for power brakes and i cant seem to figure it out.

Mine followed the engine crossmember on the back side where the oil pan sump is located. There were clips in mine that the lines ocked into. They run down from the MC, and run side by side across the frame, where they're held down by a bracket shaped like an m, with a bolt that secures the bracket in the middle. Did they run inside or outside the frame rails?

Inside.... they are really close to the stock exhaust manifolds, but it works with 1.5-2" of clearance. YMMV.

Here are shots of the originals on my '69 3/4 ton with drums. Do you know for a fact that the power brake lines were run differently than manual? The power brake booster was added to mine before delivery when the truck was new. I don' believe they changed any lines.

It seems to me that the only difference between power brake lines and manual brake lines would be the length of the lines from the frame/front cross member to the distribution block. I mentioned above that mine was converted to power when the truck was new. I'm pretty sure they used the original lines from the since they appeared to be pretty stretched out.

The poctures from firstowner69 seem pretty close to wjat i have. Im gonna give it a shot and see if i can make it work outside the frame rails.
As for the weather, its been pretty cloudy and rainy for the past couple of days. I used to go out to harrah alot to install when we did iron work at the shop.

Looking good!

At first I wondered about where you put the frame clamp. I'd forgotten about that one. However, in my first 2 pics above you can see a clamp there as well as the one that's clearly visible on top. The problem with the one on top is that the lines are almost kinked where they curve around the frame.

my frame doesnt have the bolt hole for the top clamp. So i just used the ones on the side

Maybe they eliminated it during the model year due to the sharp bend kinking potential it created.
