lo,

I know they made 4-door duallies in '76. I had the chance to buy one last year but backed out at the last minute.

"240ft/lb of torque" from the 6.2. That ain't nothing compared to today, I would hate to have to pull anything with that now. But then back in the day, those were screamers. I remember when we bought a diesel that had 425ft/lb and it was the pullin machine. Now 1-tons are up to 600+. Crazy

lofat, I don't know what the years were, but I do know that they made them in '78 (if your wanting the round headlights )

Thumbs up

Very cool Jeff! Much appreciated!

I'll have to show them to my diesel buddys!

Yeah, 82 was the first year for the 6.2L, and it didn't have much power for sure. I'm thinking by the time I get my turbo installed, I'll be around 215 hp or so, and around 400 tq. Not much when compared to the Duramax today with 300 hp and 520 tq, but not bad considering it's a 23 year old truck that still gets 20 mpg and is paid for!
