Work begins.....
Except for bouts of dealing with heavy rains and then snow, the guys are making progress on my garage......they tell me it will be done by Wednesday night!!!!!
I hope to have the rest of it complete by summer (concrete, electric, interior walls, etc.) http://home.alltel.net/briarcliff/Garage_08.jpg http://home.alltel.net/briarcliff/Garage_15.jpg Misled |

that's gonna be one hell of a shop, you've got a loft, and is that a gonna be a little carport on the side? It looks like just a nice size, are you gonna plumb in a bathroom, cause your gonna spend a lot of time in there.
Best of luck

Very nice progress. It took me a total of 4 years to escavate for, then to build mine. Weather is always the biggest obstacle when your building anything. The garage I built is 40' wide x 30' deep with a 20' x 20' carport. Wish it were bigger now that I have all the tools and toys in it. SHAVEDCHEVY is right about the bathroom. It saves that trek back to the house.

The dimensions are 30'x40" for the main part, 10'x40 lean-tos on both sides, with 24' of the right side lean-to boxed in for parts storage, etc.
The upstairs will be finished with a bathroom, bedroom, and small kitchen.........my daughter has laid claim to that for when she goes to college in a year. I've waited forever to build this and I figure now is my last shot until after my 3 kids get done with schooling. Misled |
