Question How to determine model if spid is damaged/missing?

Is it possible to determine the model number if the spid is damaged or missing?

That part of my spid is torn completely out, and I want to get a new one made. My spid is in the spid thread ( post 647 ) if needed for reference.

Thanks in advance.

this page should help you figure out the model number:

this page should help you fill in the gaps for the 3-digit option codes (i assume the gmc codes are the same as the chevy):

Re: How to determine model if spid is damaged/missing?

Thanks for the info guys! However, that GM Heritage Center link raises as many questions as it answers. My spid contains options not listed on that site, or specifically not available on a 1/2 ton.

Maybe that's a subject for a different thread...

Ok here goes:

D?9 rear view mirror bus - You'd think that's D29 below eyeline mirror, but the description is different AND the remains of the missing number suggest a 3 or maybe 5.

J76 manual parking brake - Not listed by RPO on the site, AND site says propshaft park brakes only available on C30 w/11000lb axle and C40+, AND lever operated but my truck has a pedal...

Q18 16x5 kelsey 6 stud - Went over the wheel/tire pages several times and couldn't find it. Canadian only wheel option?

Finally, ??5 green vinyl custom tr - Couldn't find any interior codes listed, so totally clueless here.

Thanks again guys!
