Re: 64 c10 build
As much as that thing is worth and the time it would take to get it to Oregon would cost me a year's wages. HAHA!

Re: 64 c10 build
So not much truck time here lately. We've wanted to build a house for a long time so a few years ago we bought 20 acres outside of town.
All of last weekend was spent on the dozer and I got it again this weekend. Removing some of the trees where we want to put the house. No idea when I will start construction.

Not sure if I'm going to build a shop. But if my truck is done why will I need one, a garage on the house would be good enough! Right?

Re: 64 c10 build
Hopefully it don't snow much there. I'd hate to have to clean that driveway.
Looking good though.

We don't get a lot of snow so I'm not too worried about it. I am worried about driving my cTen up the drive. Thanks

Re: 64 c10 build
So after 2 weekends of running the dozer from daylight to past dark here's what it looks like. I still need to take a tractor out there to rake and seed.
If I build a new shop it would sit nicely here! Flat area beside my truck is for the house! Back/side yard view 360 video

Re: 64 c10 build
With the size of that plot, the new shop will be impressive. Are you building the shop first, then the house. That way you will have room to store all the equipment while building the house .

Re: 64 c10 build
Back to the build! I started the big window conversion on ruckus. I will sand and prime the inside and install sound deadening before the final install. I also took the seat, steering wheel, visor and armrests to a local upholstery shop a few months ago. I'm not completely happy with the seat. Everything else turned out nice.

Re: 64 c10 build
You really are getting on with stuff Paul.
Sorry you were not happy with the seat. Hopefully they will see it your way and fix it.

Re: 64 c10 build
BBW install looks great. Seat does too compared to mine.
Did you remove the roof skin or are you gluing the top seam together on the BBW install? |
